The Larner family is proud to announce the following exciting news... We are in the final stages of planning for a new winery and tasting room to complete our dream of producing estate Larner wines to be sold at our very own General Store. Within this site, we have made available pertinent winery information regarding size, architecture and design. We have also detailed plans for the restoration of our onsite tasting room (the antique “General Store”) that sits at the heart of the property, nestled beautifully between the vines.

We’d love to hear back from you and ask for your support should you like our project. You can either sign the following petition, send a letter of support, or both (click here support).

Larner Vineyard is a small, family-run vineyard located at the heart of the best grape-growing region in Santa Barbara: Ballard Canyon in the Santa Ynez Valley. Founded by Stevan and Christine Larner in 1997, the property is managed today by a second generation of Larners. Michael and his wife Christina Larner live onsite and Monica Larner returns regularly from her adopted home, Italy. The 134-acre ranch is planted to 34 acres of vine, including Rhône varieties Syrah, Grenache. Mourvedre and Viognier. As a small tribute to Italy, the Larners also have one block of Malvasia Bianca.
